The Alamo City Black Chamber of Commerce held its 82nd Anniversary Gala on Friday, January 10th, 2020, at the Pearl Stable in San Antonio, TX. Bridgewater Consulting Group’s (BCG) President & CEO Mark Montgomery was in attendance. He accepted a sponsorship award on behalf of BCG.
All proceeds from the event benefitted the Chamber’s mission to inform, educated, and empower its members. The formal gala’s theme was “Collective Vision for Diversity in Tech.”
Founded in 1938, the Alamo City Black City Chamber of Commerce provides a conduit between the City of San Antonio, its agencies, and other governmental entities to foster economic empowerment for businesses and individuals in the eastern quadrant of San Antonio.
The Chamber’s emphasis is to foster economic activity, promote jobs, and aid training and business referrals to businesses and organizations. The Chamber strives to include all businesses throughout the San Antonio metropolitan area and seeks to eliminate the isolation of the African American companies.
